Educational Policies

The Vice-Chancellor's Office of Education, inspired by the university's general policy, has foreseen the following goals and executive strategies for a five-year horizon:

Continuing to develop doctoral courses in order to reform the student pyramid;
Launching new strategic postgraduate courses, in line with the needs and developments of society;
Continuing to uphold rules and regulations in all aspects of education;
Efforts to improve the quantity and quality of the university's educational activities;
Efforts to attract committed, specialized faculty members familiar with modern sciences and technologies and Islamic teachings;
Efforts to train committed and specialized graduates who will use their full potential for spiritual-material development and the salvation of society;
General policies and medium-term executive strategies of the university, in accordance with the development plan.

The major and executive plans of the Educational Vice-Chancellor's area, in five axes

Diversifying educational methods-inputs and deepening the perspective of open education;
Improving the quality of educational activities;
Developing human resources at the level of the Educational Vice-Chancellor's area;
Orienting education towards the development of a knowledge-based society;
Making education in the university mission-oriented.

Duties:

Manage all educational affairs of the university;
Study and make decisions on educational issues with the help of relevant officials;
Supervise the implementation of educational regulations and bylaws through the University Supervision and Evaluation Management;
Formulate and propose executive principles for educational affairs;
Supervise the proper implementation of the duties of subordinate units;
Supervise the preparation of the agenda for the meetings of the Educational Council and the University's Postgraduate Education Council;
Plan educational and postgraduate affairs in cooperation with relevant units;
Supervise the proper implementation of educational programs and activities and specialized courses of each faculty and evaluate them and submit the necessary report to the Board of Directors;
Evaluate the educational performance of students and reflect it to the University President and announce the results of the evaluation to the faculty members;
Carry out affairs related to scholarships, study opportunities and scientific trips and supervise their academic affairs in cooperation with the Vice-Chancellor for Education and Research;
Distribute and allocate scholarships awarded to faculty members and distinguished graduates;
Implement short-term educational and specialized courses;
Plan the expansion of postgraduate courses at the university;
Managing all educational affairs of the university's postgraduate courses; Supervising the implementation of educational regulations for postgraduate courses.
